About the Team

Shirukii

The founder of this blog, I’m an engineering student whose love of anime for the past decade or so became so strong that I wasn’t content with merely watching it. After lurking the anime blogs that were out at the time, I found myself with too much to say to be contained in mere comments and along with Soda started this blog. I’ll give pretty much any anime a fair chance, good or bad, and my completionist tendencies often lead me to watch crappy shows in their entirety, however I consider my general tastes in anime to be pretty good.

Soda

Cofounder of the blog, I started watching anime about 3 years ago, and I realize that’s a pretty short time compared to others. However, my anime is starting to pick up and I’ll soon become a full fledged otaku. This blog can serve as a record of my stepping stones to the highest of the highs. Or… the lowest of the lows, depending on how you think of it.

Linall

Linall is a twenty year old good-for-nothing English major currently living on the east coast of the United States. Right now his most pressing concerns in life are finding a use for a degree in English and upgrading his computer to the point where it can play all the super HD anime that is floating around now a days. He also finds writing about himself in the third person to be a very surreal experience.

Vadigor

Shirukii wanted a bit of a biography for his neat new Meet the Team page so here it is. As you can see the name’s Vadigor, one of many pseudonyms I use on-line and I’m writing this from a small, backwards country in Europe, I’m currently in college studying for a degree in History.

My first experience with Japanese animation was back when the Rurouni Kenshin dub was aired here all those years ago. I’ve been watching anime more actively for several years now, although most still consists of watching older series, one marathon after the other, which I prefer to watching a series on a weekly basis, which is why I don’t usually follow more than a few series per season.

Jay

Jay is currently a NEET Nursing Major living in his parents’ basement/attic (whichever one seems to be colder during the day) and an aspiring future JET with no real motivation other than to try to experience half of the adventures that the guy who writes GaijinSmash seems to have on a somewhat weekly basis. Raised on the English dub of Sailor Moon and the shower scene of the Street Fighter II movie, Jay has been watching anime since the ripe age of 8 years old, and has continued to watch shows such as Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and pretty much anything that has fights, explosions, energy beams…and romance.  (While Death Note has none of these in impossibly ridiculous amounts, he enjoyed nonetheless).

In his spare time, Jay likes to scrounge around for money in hopes of going to next year’s Anime Expo through means that don’t involve actually getting a job, mercilessly insult his friends while receiving an equal amount of physical injury in return, and preach to deaf ears that Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is the only good “MeMORPeGRrr” worth playing and that the PSP is not dying.
