Anime North ‘09 Con Pre-Report

Back from the con, extremely tired. Pics and a proper report soon to follow, “soon” pending pictures from a friend and some energy to move my body for more than 10 minute bursts at a time.

Immediate congratulations must go out to congoers this year though, not once did I lose the game, see someone fail miserably at Caramelldansen, get asked for a free hug or had to hold my stomach contents in due to fat Yokos or fail Ls. Excellent work people, I hope to see your continued commendable conduct at cons to come.

…for those who don’t attend cons, please note with the greatest emphasis, that was sarcasm.

    I think the more important issue would be con funk and how many times you nearly passed out from that inevitable odor.

    Shoot, I totally forgot you live in Toronto! I guess it’s too late now lol. Anyway, I think we’ve all gotten used to the usual con problems by now, so I definitely enjoyed myself. I saw a bunch of guys “openly” request free hugs while conveniently passing by a group of Vocaloid cosplayers…and they were completely ignored. Lulz were had.

    Did you get anything good at the Dealer’s Room?

    A couple volumes of ARIA, a t-shirt and a plushie for mai waifu, I spend more on food than on merch, LOL.
