Mind = Blown

Despite the dip in posting here at AniAri, a steady stream of hits kept on flowing in and today we hit 1,000,000 unique hits (and somewhere in the range of 1,800,000 visits).

I’d like to extend my thanks to those who kept checking here, even in lieu of a post drought! And of course the google crawl bots, I <3 you Google, even if we aren't the first search result for "arimasu" anymore D:

Onwards to two million! (Hah.)

    Also, you should probably track down our 1,000,000th customer and we can reward them with fabulous prizes the likes of which they have never seen!

    AX Press Reqs: Active employment; with a major media company that is recognized as a print publication. (i.e. magazine, newspapers, etc.), radio, television/cable/affiliate station/program, newscast and/or online magazine, (with a minimum of 10,000 unique hits per month-via Google Analytics).

    Now all we need are business cards with printed information. Celebrate by making those, Shirukii!

    @ Jay: Wow, someone’s a little enthusiastic! Does the Press badge give you some kind of discount or something? Doesn’t that mean that you have to do interviews and whatnot?

    … If you can count this as a magazine? (I wouldn’t. I bet the only people who actually read this blog are its authors, me, and like maybe <5 other people. >_>)

    @Linall and Lumi: I dunno, but the Anime Diet guy was able to get into press last year, and they’re not that much different from us (they have a store though o_o) I would say, except they have they’re own domain name too. And yeah, if we’re approved for Press, I get my 4-Day Badge free, and can indeed interview Guests if I fill out the forms (We don’t know WHO’s coming at this point, but I don’t think it’ll be disappointing). So yeah…

    @Jay: Huh. That would be p. sweet.

    Also, I think we should definatly turn Arimasu into a magazine. I would do layout, we’d just need to generate a bunch of content in a short enough time to justify the magazine format.

    That or go in with a bunch of other anime blogs. That might actually be p. fun.

    Got this today. There are a few kinks to work out (As I said, a business card since I can’t bring in a “recent paycheck stub” O_O), but I’m glad it went through. Now the only money I have to worry about is getting there and a getting a hotel room… ^^;;.

    Damn Jay, that’s pretty awesome. As for business cards, just get a sheet of thick, glossy photo paper or something similar and print out a few. Bonus points if you manage to work in a logo. Virtual cookies if you show it off here. ^^

    But I will be expecting a full con report from you of course. =p
