Drug induced goodbyes on Graduation Day…what will they think of next?

Short entry edition. T_T

Definitely the happiest Tomoya’s ever been in the series, and an episode signifying his fresh start on his adult life. Since there’s quite a time gap to fill before we can see the next real big event, Tomoya’s time skipping monologues continue to dominate most of the storyline; again, it’s like the Toei CLANNAD movie did, only not sucky. As such, it makes for some important filler time to develop Tomoya’s growing responsibility and his ascension into the working life, but as in real life, it’s a slow and steady rate doing so. The true extent of Tomoya’s lovestruck feelings for Nagisa are shown here as well, blushing, smiling, and murmuring to himself about being alone with her, and awaiting the day when she can move into the newly rented apartment with him, quite different from the normally stoic and poker-face person we’ve been accustomed to.

They do kinda look alike…then again, Yoshino also looks like Marth, so…

Yoshino Yusuke’s presence is finally given some more establishment as a type of mentor/older brother figure for Tomoya, giving him pointers and criticism during Tomoya’s first day on the job. It seems he can hold some sort of lecture or speech throughout his own common day events such as working (or at least when there’s a person to talk to, since he has an assistant now), and his helpful advice will most likely extend past work and into Tomoya’s life; Yusuke himself is married, meaning his experience in the romantic chapter of life could carry on to Tomoya later down the road, as well as other life experiences Tomoya’s likely to be able to relate him to. In some cases, I could even say he’s a bit like a father to Tomoya as well.

;_; Poor Nagisa…even with all the hard work put into last year to get the Theater Club, it’s closed down again due to a lack of members. It also must be tough for her to see Tomoya continuing on through his adulthood while she has to continue to stay at school, and thus shortening their time to spend together, Tomoya’s drained energy from work being the biggest cause so far.

One more thing to gripe about the Illusionary World: the girl herself said that during the winter that she won’t be able to move. Compare that with Nagisa, whose condition all of a sudden became better when the weather started getting warmer. Quite a connection. Can we assume then that the little mechanical bear is Tomoya? Just something to ponder…

A lot of apologizing going on. o.o Tomoya’s continuing to work, and seems to be cutting more time to spend with Nagisa, due to their differing scedules. It looks like another Founder’s Festival is coming up…
