"I don’t think, however, believe it should be looked at that way, and instead should seen as a beautiful little romance side-story set inside a bigger one."
Well said. And you're right about the ending. Not gloomy as Makoto's.

Hmm. Call me wierd. But I really liked this arc more than most of the arcs in Clannad (1st series). I guess I really prefer it when things are compressed and not drawn out (also explains why I liked the Tomoyo OVA)

Why does KyoAni insist on making all their unnamed characters have incredibly ugly design? It's jarring on one part. But maybe it's just for lulz.

Also I also LOVE the design for trap Shima.

Thanks for including the visual novel stuff Shirukii. I like knowing the differences (which is also why I thank Kaioshin of aniem history for doing bits on Chaos;Head).

If I start blogging more frequently by the time the Umineko anime hits, I might do something similar for that.

You WOULD make this a "But in the VN..." fest, wouldn't you? :P

I appreciate the cross-comparisons between the two as the VN is something which I wish I could invest time into. However, seeing as it is very unlikely for me to do so, for laziness and other reasons, I'm stuck with your blog. So get used to it! ^_^

I was a little bit annoyed at the fast-paced switching between the different scenes, and even more surprised that Misae took Tomoya's word so seriously when he spoke of Shima and the cat. I guess it sort of makes sense, seeing as I haven't heard of Misae telling anyone else of such incidents.

Btw, second to last picture: "SURPRIZE BUTT SECKS"
