I found it odd how shocked, Shocked! I tell you, that Cornelia and Schniezel were that the Emperor was acting arrogantly and with callous disregard to his subjects. Hasn’t self-interest and survival of the fittest been the explicit raison d’etre of Charles’s reign?

Everyone in the royal family is a headcase. Only Lloyd seems to have an ounce of sense. And if Goro has his way, perhaps that’s who’ll be emperor when this is all over. (It’s not too late to change your mind, Milly!)
