Vote for AniAri! Or else…
April 28th, 2008 by Shirukii

First of all, sorry for reposting this, but over the downtime the post got mangled beyond recognition. I did manage to salvage the comments though.
So, voting has begun in the Anime Blog Awards and AniAri has been nominated for Best Episodic Blog, so what are you waiting for, head on over to the People’s Choice and if it applies to you, Blogger’s Choice, and cast your vote for us!
As for reasons why you should vote us over the other nominees, it’s a very difficult task to give a definite answer to that. Episodic blogs, by nature, are all fairly similar in that they usually consist of a summary of the episode and a “Thoughts” section, AniAri is no pioneer on breaking the norm in that respect. Where we really differ is writing style, how we convey our thoughts and personal opinions on the episodes at hand in posts and comments alike is where the soul of an episodic blog lies.
So, if you enjoy my long winded “tl;dr” posts (which by the way average around 1300 words per post, equivalent to writing a freaking term paper every week) fueled by my analytic nature which usually leads me to theories that are more often than not, completely wrong, cast your vote.
Another reason I can give is the length I go to get involved in the discussions I spur. Throwing up a post and watching the comments fly by is one thing, I prefer to step down from my author command post and get in on the commenting brawl, especially when my opinions get called into question :3. Interactivity between commenters and the author is a huge part of any blog, and it’s the major reason I don’t comment on a certain goliath of an episode summary blog, because I know my measly words will just get swallowed up in the torrent of other comments.
My final and perhaps most poignant reason why you should vote for AniAri is the reason behind the titular “Or else…” of this post. Because if you don’t vote for me…

rofl, I thought you were going the tsundere route, not yandere
VOTE GET!
Boo, this blog ain’t so great. Or at least I should say half of the blogging team sucks.
But of course your half isn’t the bad half ;__;
Needless to say, I voted. Spare me and my family, kthxbi.
Needs MOAR Kyou’s thighs. You won’t get my vote until you get Kyou to have hawt yuri lurvin with Kotomi and tape it. :P
Kill my family eh? Hehe, I’d like to see you try… (click…loads my M-240B)
Well, kohaku does have a point….
*thinks about it….*
@ Kabitzin: I haven’t managed to get through Tsukihime yet, but I hear Kohaku is quite the psychopath.
@ eits: By covering all the ___dere, I increase my demographic.
@ Icystorm: Many thanks <3
@ Soda: I’ll spare your family when you start posting again, lol.
@ Crusader: Is it even legal for civilians to own that? lol
As for KyouXKotomi, would a doujin be acceptable?
@ Deranged: Her terms are quite fair, I’d say. Let me know what you decide, haha.
I am no civilian…I signed up so my ass belongs to Uncle Sam. I don’t own it, i just borrowed it from the armory. ;)
KyouxKotomi. Sure send me a copy and were golden. Throw in Ryou and I’ll put you in for both categories.
I love that image everytime I see it. I such a Type-Moon fanboy.
Finish Tsukihime….it’s great.
I follow Hisui over Kohaku, so sad to say, but your words have no effect on me! :D
I hope you don’t mean the Tsukihime anime, cause it sucks. I have heard the game is good, though.
Umm…What anime?
Haha…..
Game is very good…..but might not be good for those who dislike very dark stuff.
My family will be safe =p
If you killed my family, I would be grateful. However, I have voted for you XP
Hey Shirukii, just wanted to say—episode summary blogs are pretty common right, and a bunch of the ORIGINAL OMG anime blogs were in that format, so it’s a pretty vague and broad category and you’re being incredibly competitive in it (currently ranked #4 in the aniblogawards) and that’s damn impressive.
That’s kind of like being in the top X anime bloggers period or something.
Way to go!
please spare the bunniess ;___;
“I’ll kill your family ^^”
Hahaha…
Wait…WHAT?!
@ Crusader: Unfortunately, my Share and Winny nodes are about a year old and aren’t bringing anything up ;_;
@ Avisch: I’ll get to it…eventually.
@ TheBigN: Damn. How about some cake? Would that persuade you?
@ Kabitzin: There is no Tsukihime anime.
@ Vadigor: Excellent choice.
@ TheChichiSlaughterHouse: Wow, I don’t know if I want to delve into your first statement, as I’m no psychiatrist, but thanks for the vote!
@ lolikit: Wow, never thought of it that way. Way to inflate my ego. Although, by the same token, that means that randomc would be the best anime blog period, which I don’t think is a deserved title.
@ usagijen: Your family consists of bunnies?
@ Randor: You heard me :3
LOL, you’ll never let me live that down will you?
But anyways, looking back; I realized I mixed up yours and Siva’s response on one of the last big “debate” discussion posts I made.
Sorry for that ^ ^”
Better to have an inflated ego than an inflated value, Shirukii. That’s what RC has and I hope that some day his popularity bubble bursts and everyone flees the RC market in fear of losing all their assets.
well I AM a bunny Shirukii XD
as much as I have difficulty deciding which episodic blog to vote, I do think that AniAri > RC, especially if you consider the interaction with the commentators, and the entire blogosphere as well. It’s quite sad if people voted RC without taking into consideration the other noteworthy episodic blogs in the bunch… like they don’t want to move out of their comfort zone.
nya nya got my vote.. i never even though of reading any other blog site! haha
Only if I hire her and rape her. Repeatedly.
If I show some sort of affection, I WIN. and not die :P
