@ ItAintEazy: I’m continually amazed that people remember Soda, even though he hasn’t posted in almost half a year, lol.

@ Crusader: Allison and Lillia didn’t meet my expectations in terms of what I thought it would be, but I still enjoyed it. I thought Macross would get a lot more attention that it currently is. I suppose it’s before a lot of people’s time?

@ blissmo: Yea, seems like everyone is taking a chunk of CG R2, hopefully I’ll still have some original things to say about it here and there.

@ Mike: I often hear that the Do You Remember Love movie was one of those things every anime fan needs to watch, and that’s why I dled the entire series. Once school calms down I’ll get to it.

@ Kaelyn: There aren’t really any pure harem shows this season D= Aside from Da Capo II SS, but the first season sorta put me off from covering that, and no one seems to be subbing it, lol.

@ Telliamed: Yea I watched both, the pilot was more entertaining, I didn’t need to see the whole concert, it was rather uninspiring. Animation did get a 1up though, so that was nice.

Apparently Druaga turns into serious business in episode 2, which is sad, more parodies would have been lulz.

@ Thermonuclear: Vote it up then, I could see myself blogging it, though its long length means that I’d probably ditch it halfway through or something =(

@ Siva: The subbers took some liberty with that translation actually, the literal translation of the line was “welcome to the sky”

So they had to cut down the Macross F pilot from 30 minutes to TV-size 25. But along the way they rewrote it giving more screen time to the “galactic fairy”. (No, not Alto!)
I preferred the first one, but it’s hardly a downgrade. This is the best of the spring shows that I’ve seen. (No Kamen no Maid Guy or 20 Mensou no Musume, among others) But that’s to be expected. What I didn’t expect is that I’d actually be interested in Tower of Druaga. And three shows I was looking forward to: Kanokon, Special A, and Toshokan Sensou, I’m disappointed in.
