Damn those imposters! I agree that Horo is even cuter in the manga, but an anime Horo is fine, too.

I have trouble commenting on this anime....Possibly because I like it so much and because I've never seen an anime like it (expected because it's based off a light novel).

My only complaint is that in the anime as compared to manga atleast they appear to make Lawrence alittle more un-trusting of Horo whilst in manga he's more nuetral (which I like).

And Shirukii. In the manga they also go halfway with the nipples

They imply that they are indeed there.

Also Horo is alittle more KAWAIII! in the manga

Anyway I like how IMAGIN is handling this so far. Even the anime original character isn't a bad addition.

Also my comments on the Voices. Every time I remember the 3 Geass seiyu's in this I laugh.

Originally I was surprised as Fukuyama as Lawrence. But then I realized I hadn't considered Lawrence a young character.

The "bartering" issue isn't quite as simple as the anime made it sound, although still nothing too complicated. The deal is that Lawrence is delivering goods between branches of the same organization, and they're transferring the money internally, allowing all parties involved to avoid taxation, and allowing Lawrence to avoid the risk of carrying lots of cash with him during his travels. In return for working with the organization to broker the exchange in this manner, they give him the salt he wants free of charge, which he's then able to trade elsewhere and make a profit, all with no risk.

It's one of those interesting issues of the anime dumbing things down a bit out of necessity. The novel had the most detailed description of the economics behind the exchange. The manga had a nice pictorial diagram and accompanying explanation. The anime only had a bit of the dialogue and then moved on. Admittedly, they have a limited time frame to work with, and it's not the entire point of the episode, but nevertheless its a bit unfortunate to see things like this get pared down like this.
