This is the first anime since Haruhi where I enjoyed the character of a female main lead. Noe definitely isn’t your typical moe constructed character, and I feel plenty of personality from her. Hiromi could be a potential yandere, but Noe is more than a match for her. Fun times, fun times.

Spice and Wolf & True Tears are both have it good points. I think you should give it another episode before u decide which one will be blogged.

Still haven’t watched true tears and there’s what, 2-4 groups subbing this series. Might as well check this baby out.

Oh yeah, I’ll carry my Yuri goggles just in case. It happened on Myself; Yourself, I hope True Tears do the same. :D

@ Servbot: I’ll be needing another episode of each for my final decision. Tissue box thing sounds like something an OCD friend of mine would do, made me lol.

@ Reishin: Yea I don’t know what it is about the shoes, but they really accent the childlike cuteness of Noe, they’re awesome.

About my blogging schedule, I’m no longer blogging Shana II, Soda is. Although he’s been MIA since well before Christmas. I usually blog 3 series per season, I’m still blogging Clannad and (assuming we get subs sometime in the next oh iono, month) I’ll be blogging ARIA as well. Leaving me to choose between Wolf and Tears =(

My thought exactly like yours, Shirukii. When I saw the preview video of this series, I was like “this gonna be an awesome series.” Then again, I doubt that it’s gonna be like ef~tale of memories or Clannad level. Well, it’s more like I hope it gonna be awesome since it seeems to have potential. This episode is kinda slow though IMO, but still very entertain to watch. BTW. damn, Shirukii !! You definitely have a good eye for the x-ray thing. I watched this episode twice and I’m not even notice that at all.

Since you are going to continue blog Clannad and Shana 2, isn’t that mean you should have two more series left to blog? So why can’t you just blog both Spicy and Wolf and True Tears.

Nice post. You gave me even more reasons for liking this show. Now I’ll go back and watch the new sub. Two days to episode 2. We’ll see if it maintains the quality of plot, character, and animation.

Hehe, Guess I’m not the only one… I was shocked to see him make a chicken out of it. I mean, one would definately think that, especially considering that it was right after he walked in on Hiromi in the bath room.

Haha, seems like me and you think the same. I think this is the first time in anime that I found the shoe on the character made them more appealling. Noe was already cute with here personality but the shoes just gives her the extra boost in her cuteness.
