I gotta say, I hate Nanaka.
I feel bad for her but I just despise the characters whineyness over little things. I’d prefer if Sana ended up with that other girl, the one he was hugging on.

Two words: Koshimizu Ami. The writers got themselves together for this episode, but it was Amisuke who delivered the goods. I don’t believe I’ve ever heard an emotional scene like that done any better. She has utter control of her rich voice, and makes ever syllable count. Amisuke has the talent, now she needs more serious roles.

Maybe Sana was bullied or something at his old school. It’s something about the school. His mother always makes sure he’s going to school, and Sana freaked when Nanaka accused him of forgetting her with his ‘new friends’ at his new school. Ties in well with the fact that I, too, believe he tried to kill himself, or at least relieve the pain, by cutting.

The ending was awesome~ I still want to know what’s up with Shuri and her dad, though.

@ItAintEazy: The next ep looks like filler but it may be something use to cover the secret behind it. 5 eps are not that short but it is not that long either. 8 eps so far but it just like a blink of eye to me.

This was a pretty powerful episode.

Yeah Yuzuki’s conversation was kind of long. But yeah it ended great.

The emotional scene was great on the part of emphasizing both Sana’s and Nanaka’s emotions (example: when it flashes to Sana’s upset face when Nanaka’s says that he had other friends).

Please, God, don’t let the next episode be another filler. The momentum is just getting good. Yes, loli fanservice is a definite plus but thirteen episodes of unrestricted angst isn’t necessarily a bad thing either (”Saikano” anyone?).

@ YanLan: Funny you should come up with the theory of Sana talking to himself over the phone, that’s what Soda (other author here) thinks as well. I suppose it’s not too much of a stretch, but I’d like to believe Sana isn’t THAT crazy.

@ Siva: That’s what theories are all about XD

I like Kimikiss a lot, it’s a romance drama with several different relationships instead of just one central one. The story seems a little slow but is actually paced quite well.

I’ve only watched the first episode of Mokke, it’s a little weird but I think it has potential, I plan on catching up when I find the time.

@ Owen S: I was wtf’ing through most of Yuzuki-sensei’s speech, her going on and on about playing house with herself, but it came together nicely at the end. The higurashi-esque feel of the letter scene was awesome, but I don’t know if I’d like it if it went too far down that path, I don’t want to see Nanaka chopped up and fed to the crows D=

That’s pretty much every single harem in existence, save a few ones that stray from the beaten path.

Definitely waiting on Sana’s end of the story, there have been way too many hints and not enough concrete fats on that end.

@ Erilex: I am watching Ef, it’s amazing, had I not been lured in by the false hope that Da Capo II was going to be awesome, I would have blogged it instead, I regret not doing so now, but hey, that’s how it goes with these sort of things.

…aaand Siva sums up what I just said, haha, nice.

@ kenshin514: I’m beginning to love yanderes almost as much as tsunderes now. These past seasons have had some awesome ones.

As much as I loved School Days’ ending, I agree, another gorefest “Nice Boat” ending wouldn’t be fitting in this case. Myself; Yourself should have a happy ending.

For me, the whole teacher Yuzuki’s talk with Sana was bored me, but the ending made up the whole thing. Man, I thought Miyako’s 99 voice message from Ef tale of memories was already insane, but you can’t top Nanaka’s 100 of mails in this episode. Gotta love yandere. They always do incredible insane stuff. Nanaka FTW

Now most people seems to conclude that Sana is already gone nut a long time ago (something to do with the watch) and he doesn’t really talking to his mom over the phone. Oh well, that’s what most people think, but I still have to no idea what to expect about his situation.

Actually, I probably not even gonna predict about Sana’s situation or the ending. This way I will enjoy the next 4 episodes even more. The ending may surprise me, who know? (Just please don’t do the whole nice boat thing again lol).

@Siva: I never watch Mokke. You can try read from randomc.animeblogger.net to see if it fits your type.

As far as for the Kimikiss, I watched up to episode 7 right now. It’s pretty good series. Typical shoujo (you know bunch of girl with different attitudes) with not too obvious harem stuff. What I like about it every main characters have their own love story-line, so they won’t be 5 girls liking one guy like typical harem anime. The story kinda slow. Nevertheless, just give it a try. I enjoy it. You might too.
