Comments on: Da Capo II 06

I’ve only watched up to the third episode of Da Capo II but I know i’ll skip this one. I love tsundere and all but Minatsu is just an annoying character to me.

Claymore comments in here? On the manga. Anyone else think Miata is awesome?

Yeah and with Galatea. I was surprised at the eyes thing. I need to see the end of that fight.

By my observation, game fans are actually thrilled with this adaptation. Rather than creating an exciting drama for the masses, the producers have opted to keep the overarching plot simple (so far, main game events have been excised in favor of the character-specific plots). Therefore, running time has been dedicated toward presenting the crucial bits of each character path, as well as some of the Spring Celebration content.

One of the original Da Capo II writers is in charge of series composition, so the team has been very faithful. Currently, players are gushing over well they’ve covered and reproduced the feel of Minatsu’s story.

While this approach is great fan service to those already in love with the original story (not retold here) and characters (every character should be covered quite well within 13 episodes), it’s mind-numbingly dull for everyone else. Nonetheless, the goal is to sell DVDs, so fan service may be the most important thing.

@Siva: Lol. Thanks for the noticing. I guess the more that I’m stressing from my engeering classes, the more I want to watch anime, read manga, and read the anime blog to release my stress. I think Shirukii should understand what I mean.

@Shirukii: Damn you are pretty good at guessing about Galatea’s power from claymore based on just spoiler picture.

I am not a really big fan of D.C. as Shirukii does but 6 episodes so far i haven’t loss any expectation from D.C. II yet. I agreed that D.C. wasn’t really good at harem or kind of boring for some people BUT i still haven’t forget about the surprise attack i got from the first season XD

@Rakushu: I can see that you have a different point of view from me.

@Shirukii: One question for you what kind of situation do you think Galatea would have after 7 years? LOL, i guess you will never know it.

@Shirukii: The story, I liked the siscon, Nemu is great (although not as great as Sakura) anyway, I didn’t like those scenes where they were dreaming, those endings were pure crap, the only thing that I liked from D.C. would be the characters, especially Moe hehehehe

@ kenshin514: Haha, in between your post and my reply, episodes 4 and 5 subs have been released.

But yea, this is painful, even for a hardcore fan of the series like myself.

@ Rukushu: DCII has been pretty fail up until now, but the original DC was pretty good by harem standards, had a lot of non-traditional elements that made it great to watch, if you could handle the siscon that is. What didn’t you like about it?
