I'd be very surprised if this show went with a dark tone/path with the backstory on why Nanaka is as she is now, why Sana had to leave as well as why his mom calls him and asks basically the same questions everyday. Despite the entire set-up being done to hell and beyond, somehow, it still manages to draw in droves of watched everytime, including me.
