one of the most beautiful and AWE-some anime, after gundam seed, – definitely a must-see for any anime lover. its got everything – love, hate, jealousy, kindness, sacrifice, greater good, and, ofcourse, the limitless fighting spirit of man!

Gurren Lagann ruined everything for me. Now hotblood has to apply in everything or else it’s not worth watching. ;_; Pussy protagonists in high school drama get me riled up and pissed off because they’re not hotblooded enough, wtf.

On the upside, I always have enough hotblood in me to help me make the right decisions.

I agree with you that the ending felt kind of disjointed with the whole “we’ve been kicking reason to the curb” theme of the show, but it does fit with the “who the hell do you think I am?” theme.

Doesn’t make me feel any less disappointed, though, at how Simon chose to continue living his life, but ah well. It’s his life, after all.

Watch Da Capo first then, because AIR’s ending made me cry. This season looks to be ok, but it probably won’t compare to summer.
