Loooooooove the anime! I’m sad to hear so many people comparing anime and manga, it’s the same as comparing a movie and a book, it is not possible. The two media will also have their independent story. And maybe the ending was a bit original and weak but i actually think it suits the story very well (and know i have not read the manga either) and after reading all the comments i’m not sure i want to…

I swear I hate hearing “The manga is so much better!” A manga only has to have a few scenes a page that can tell the story while the anime has 22 minutes (barring commercial breaks) of nonstop animation. I love this anime, i don’t see why people have to bitch so much. I mean the commenters at least. Nice review

I just get mad that they skipped the Flora versus Clare fight, I was really looking forward to that. Less talk, more action.

Oh my goodness.. Is Madhouse really going to do 52 epis.. If they are its totally awesome.. xD So if Madhouse are going to do 52 epis then i guess they’ll have to continue on with the story right..

Even though the anime has diverged, it would only be a few tweaks of ep. 26 of the anime to get back on the manga’s track. If I say any more it’ll spoil it. I read on Wikipedia’s article for “claymore anime” that Madhouse is going to do 52 eps. That means the manga will have to be written faster – I don’t think they meant we’d have to wait 2-3 years for the second season.

Thanks Shirukii; I’v just stumbled across your blog and (as someone else who is yet to read the manga) I’v found your thoughts and all the comments on the final episodes interesting.

I wonder if someone could tell me where exactly the manga and anime diverge? I intend to start reading the manga and I wanted to know what chapter to jump on at.
