Sekai definitely got what she deserved. She knew that Setsuna and Kotonoha liked Makoto, but she still seduced him anyway. And Kotonoha got what she always wanted - some time alone with Makoto on a nice boat :) I think they wrapped the whole story up pretty well:

But, it turns out that he's too dead to cheta on her. When Kotonoha discoveres his corpse, she's not mad, she's relieved that he'll never cheat on her again. And, best of all, he can cut off his head and make him easier to transport! He's know a superior boyfriend. He's easy to carry around, and he'll never cheat on her again. He ditches Sekai cause he don’t want no baby mama drama.
