@ Shirukii: Yeah, I figured out that much, just watched the episode and thought I'd read your review in full. Nice Gurren Lagann spoilage by the way ;_;

As for the episode itself, I've seen enough training/demo flights for now, and it's getting too damn predictable. Come now, who didn't know that the girls would end up not doing a show at all but doing some crazy stunt instead. As I seem to be on a role with predicting story-lines today, I'll say the mysterious loli shows up in the onsen, and there will no doubt be some sort of bathing mix-up. (although it doesn't even take 2 braincells to figure that out of course ^^)

Also, did anyone else think that the armaments on that aircraft carrier were rather pathetic? Loli fighters fair enough but we don't need loli cannons now... >_>

@ Owen S: I thought it was a widely accepted principle that adolescents possess the innate ability to pilot mechas.

@ Strabo: I never even considered that, though it sounds plausible. Was it ever revealed what her brother's job was?

@ AS: Next episode is an onsen episode, so I doubt there'll be any fighting. At most, I can see Ichijo overhearing news of the WORMs rebirth.

@ Alias: There are probably more Sonic Divers, there's that other loli that still has to be accounted for, and the mystery pilot who wtfpwned Ichijo.

@ Vadigor: Reading my posts pretty much guarantees spoilage, even the intros are not free from that rule. Enjoy the episode =D

@ Siva: True, it's not doing too badly, but it is dragging out a bit.

As for StrikerS, it's actually quite good now. Ever since CLANG CLANG CLANG was revealed, SrtikerS has done well in redeeming itself.

Sky Girls is not doing that bad but it is not that great either. As i said before, Sky Girls is still need a few more eps before u can see its action started. And i think i was right, that i say Hizuki is not a bad guy and he has his reason of doing those unkind things.

@Owen S: Im not disagree with u but i think they could just skip a lot of unnecessary thing in the past ep and they should be already started the action in ep 5 or 6. If u happened to see Idolmaster: Xenoglossia, i will say i have no idea what is the anime about beside destroy the Drops and some relationship between pilot and Mecha. But if u happened to see Heroic Age, i will say there is nothing to disappoint u at all even the first episode.

@Strabo: i wouldnt think so.

@Alias: The Sonic Divers could have some potential that we havent seem even in the anime they already stated it but the reason is who will the one that can achieve it. I guess we already know that those 3 will be the one that can achieve it and maybe Otoha is the first person.

@Shirukii: it seems like atleast StrikerS had prepared a really good action for its last few ep.

I should really stop reading your introductions before I actually watch it, just reading "ingeniously annoying" is going to ruin the episode for me ;_;

Oh well, at least I can look forward to some more character development and ... fanservice.

If that can be considered positive....

@ Owen S:I think it has something to do with the high quality animation and the great charater development. Of course, the main thing which I'm interested in is the appearent manuverablity and unstablity of the Sonic divers, which leas me to think that there may be more to the Sonic Divers than is currently revealed.

Here's hoping for a fight with the WORM as it was confirmed in this episode. Seems like the girls will get the knowledge of the rebirth in the next episode and the one after might finally be a episode continuing with the main storyline. Loli mecha fights HOH ^^.

Am I the only person who spent most of the anime convinced that Captain Hizaki was Karen's brother? They have the same hair colour, and anime hair colour often runs in families...

I became even more convinced when I realised that Hizaki is nothing like Karen, so it was obvious that their kinship would be the subject of a dramatic reveal after Otoha decided she hated him and could never get along with him. Or something.

I actually prefer "TRAINING HAPPENS" to throwing a bunch of random teens in mecha cockpits and expecting me to believe that they can pilot stuff from day 1. Except for Bokurano, because that one kills the pilot so it's A-OK!

Training is the way of the future. You have no chance, make your time. Sky Girls is doing great so far for some odd reason, and I can't put my finger on it.
