@ Kabitzin: Exactly. Every scene with Tsuyuri pushing the misunderstandings reminds me of those audience cue signs that basically say “Okay, you can laugh now”

@ AS: Very catchy ED, the OP doesn’t catch my interest as much and the dancing bloomers still confuse me.

@ SHiN_aKuMa: LOL, I didn’t even notice the difference in bust. How very observant.

@ Hangmen: I still haven’t gotten around to watching Genshiken, is it any good?

This is a good anime to just chill out for a day, or to cool your head off after watching animes with srs bsns storylines. It gave me a slight reminder of Genshiken, though Doujin Work emphasizes specifically on the subject of its title.

Episode 5 was enjoyable to say the least.

Najimi has found herself a rival and they’re both equally matched. Well, except in the chest area.

That’s right, animeblogger blogs are back up including mine lol, though I only plan to continue editing the site itself today. The only real funny this episode got out of me was Justice calling Najimi a pervert and Justice’s “bible” doujin being sold at comiket. The only thing in Doujin Work that really gets my attention is the opening and ending theme song, opening for its catchy tune and the ending for the “dancing,” especially with the angry pantsu.

The misunderstandings are soooo heavy-handed that I feel like the joke is being waved in my face with a big “GEDDIT?!” sign. Even in a shortened format, I felt like the hotel misunderstanding dragged on way too long.

However, I did like the confrontation between Najimi and her rival (those doujinshis looked so awesomely bad), and Justice’s tome of doujinshi was equally amusing.
