Summer Schedule Notes

Alright, who the hell took my loli tsundere fanservice animu and replaced it with a plot driven angst fest!?

With the summer season well under way first impressions are set and I’ve more or less figured out what my schedule is going to be for the next few months.

First of all, I won’t be blogging Zero no Tsukaima 2. It’s not that I don’t like it, but with Hinano, Omni and Totali blogging the raws faster than myself, I don’t really see the point.

From the new season, I’ll be blogging School Days and Sky Girls on an episodic basis. Claymore is the only series that’s being carried over from last season. I will not be blogging Nanoha StrikerS anymore, while not a bad show, it falls short of its predecessors for various reasons which I may rant about down the road.

Depending on how lazy I am, I may replace StrikerS with another series. Since it worked out well last time, I’ll throw up a poll to see what everyone is most interested in.

    I don’t blame you for not subbing StrikerS. I haven’t even watched a episode of it in the past few weeks.

    School Days is a good choice.

    I don’t know about Sky Girls. I should probably check it out.

    Your loss on Nanoha. It has in fact picked up quite well in the last few weeks, since yesy seems to be trying to make up for the long gap in their releases at least.

    But I’m not going to push on it. That tends to annoy people. I would suggest that, once it’s finished, you go back and give it a run through. Not a review, just watch it, just to see the whole story. I think it deserves that much.

    @ Avisch: Sky Girls is made of loli and mecha, depending on your preferences, that could equal epic win or epic fail.

    @ Wanderer: I haven’t dropped it as in stopped watching, I’m just not -blogging- it anymore. Partially due to the slow subs, partially due to my disappointment of late. I’m actually caught up in the subs and have watched a few episodes ahead in the raws. I still like it, but it doesn’t even feel like Nanoha anymore. As I said, I’ll probably throw up a rant post detailing exactly why it’s failing to meet my expectations. (if laziness doesn’t get the better of me that is)

    Ahaha, Zetsubou Sensei is SO random. I’m still trying to get my first impressions done, so I can’t offer any series to you, but it seems like everything I’m not into is being blogged and everything I am isn’t xD

    Yes, someone else who watches ZnT for the cheap fanservice and laughs, and not the unmemorable plot!

    It’s not like you have to blog everything you watch…I probably blog less than half of the shows I watch during the season, StrikerS being one of those. ;P

    “I will not be blogging Nanoha StrikerS anymore” it’s kind of sad but i wouldnt be forcing u to blog it back, it is just as u said it may not be great as the first and second one but it doesnt seem to have any a bad thing about it to me beside a little bit slow development story. Most of ppl said it is failure series just because it doesnt work out so well as they want to see it but it seem to be getting better to me even it is slow.
    “I still like it, but it doesn’t even feel like Nanoha anymore.” because the plot drag into many different plots that wasnt really connected to each other at all.

    “It’s not that I don’t like it, but with Hinano, Omni and Totali blogging the raws faster than myself, I don’t really see the point.” The point is i am here, i am here to read ur blog every single day :) j/k

    @ Hopey: You should blog the less covered stuff, you’ll have a monopoly on readership!

    @ Totali: Oh man if I tried to blog everything I watched, I’d burn out so fast. I limit myself to 4 series during summer vacation and 3 during school time.

    @ Siva: The plot isn’t exactly slow, it’s out of the training crap now, and it’s progressing quite nicely. But it’s just so different from what I expected that I can’t bring myself to write about it aymore.

    Haha, thanks for reading so faithfully XD

    @ twsl: Of that entire list, I’m only watching DMC T_T I will be watching Cazador, DtB and Bokurano, but only when they’re completed =( Sorry!

    hehe no problem, by the way I followed your advice and tried a drama-anime instead of the regular actionpacked shonen-anime this time ^___^;;; I tried school-days and it certainly got my attention =D curious to see where it leads~

    i’d agree that SkyGirls’d be a great choice for bloggonobing (wah?)

    As for myself im giving Mushi-Uta a shot, however the obvious difference from the novel and the apparent lack of time (13 episodes) makes me worry the future course.

    Zetsubo Sensei is also well made, yet the randomness may be hard to comprehend (& blog.)

    Zero no Tsukimiya, there isn’t much to say about it OTZ

    Nanoha SS… Wha, don’t look at me, i dunno nothing *looks away, whistling*

    otherwise im just picking up old animes that i missed… heh.

    @Shirukii : i see how u r feeling now.

    @twsl : not just only drama-anime and shonen-anime u better try anything u can.
