Anime North ‘07
May 25th, 2007 by Shirukii

Just a heads up, Soda and I will be at Anime North this weekend, meaning there won’t be any posts for the next couple of days.
Please pray for us, we’ll need it to survive the onslaught of weeaboos, Naruto cosplayers and random hare hare yukai T_T
If you see two scrawny asians carrying stacks of manga or shopping for said manga, that’d be us. I advise you to stay the hell away from us, for the greater good of your sanity =3 But if you really want to talk to us, we won’t bite.

My prayers go to you. May you spend all your money on all the anime stuff you can grab. I know how it can be ^-^.
LOL at the Lucky Star parody pic….Speaking of which, that show has definitely improved over the last couple of episodes ;)
Kanon ftw! :)
Enjoy Anime North :)…. I thought about going, but didn’t know if I would enjoy myself being such a newbie….
Not to mention the prices of manga and DVDS OTZ
perhaps next year :)
Day 1, success! Although…I’ve seen enough Naruto and Bleach cosplayers to last me a lifetime T_T
@ AS: Yea x_x tell me about it, I bought 30 volumes of manga already haha
@ Kanon_fan82: Yea, LS has been getting a bit better. Still not nearly as funny as Hayate or Seto no Hanayome, but at least better than ep 1.
You should have went! Even as a first timer it’s fun, and every year, as you become more familiar with the con, it gets better.
Manga prices are actually pretty good there, if you buy in bulk and shop around, you can get great deals. DVDs on the other hand…are expensive as hell no matter where you buy =(
In case anybody’s wondering, NO, Shirukii wasn’t exaggerating when he said he bought 30 manga volumes x.X He forced me to carry half of them T_T I was gonna run away with it [including IchiMashivol 1-3 =0 ] but alas, I decided not to. Next time, next time…
Just wondering…what is Anime North? Is it an event? Sorry for my ignorance…(>__
@ Brian Woon: Anime North is an anime convention. Basically there are a whole bunch of panels, anime screenings, a dealer’s room, artist walk, cosplayers, etc etc.
@ Brian Woon:
Anime North is also the only big/organized convention that takes place in Canada…..or at least the only one I’m aware of……most others you have to go to the U.S.
@Shirukii & Kanon_fan82 : OOOOOO!!! I see…I haven’t been to an anime convention before…LOL (>__
