Kazuya’s at least mentally incapacitated though.
This episode was random in a bad way. At least the randomness of the first few had sparkle vision and prince letters to help us through.

Kazuya doesn’t die?! Blasphemy! My Kaon theory is ruined. Though your comparison of the ending to Kannaduki is intriguing.

As for plot elements left hanging, I’m not even going to touch that, I could write an essay on how poorly kyousora’s story unfolded and the numerous questions left unanswered, but I’m far too lazy XD

There were no good “Setsuna has awesome hair” opportunities in this episode =( As for the animation on a whole, it doesn’t really bug me. Unless I see YoakeNa level QUALITY, I’m usually impartial to how good the animation is, focusing on plot/character development more than anything.

GIANT SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE. Read at your own risk.
The ending is a threesome…somewhat. At it is actually a lot like Kannazuki’s ending with death, reincarnation, search and reuniting.
Everyone’s happy. Final death toll is one: Mika.

I can sympathize with you. This whole episode seemed wasted, especially when there are only twelve in the whole series. I really wish that the apocolypse thing that Sojiro mentioned was developed more, since it sounded interesting, but no….And to top it off, the animation level was the lowest I’ve seen (gets much, much better later). You didn’t miss a thing with the part of Kyoshiro climbing up the stairs.

No ‘Setsuna has awesome hair’ picture? There probably weren’t many of those moments, if any at all this time because of poor animation.
