Truly awful. I stared at it in complete disgust, and almost stopped watching right then and there. Since then, I'll refuse to watch it, its awful. I used to fumble around, trying to find the next ep. to watch, whilst listening to the songs in the background. But now, episode goes OFF, find the right one, episode goes ON again. No more OP. *sob*. But apart from that, the best part of that episode was the three of them, dancing in a circle. How did Misa ever manage to pull that one off? WHY ARE LIGHT AND L HOLDING HANDS?!?!?!? More ammunition for the "Yagami=Imagay" argument. *sigh* OH GOD THE OP

Animation aside, the theme is rather well played. - You can tell its full confusing insanity and madness, yet for a DN newbie like me, i think it suits the theme of Death Note as well as the world around it very well. It's a total chaos inside and outside of the war between Light and L. In fact, isn't it exactly how the real world is right now? Things go up and down hill. Until the end (which kicks ass). We only have 37 episodes left. Considering this, it is liely they will cut alot of the useless stuff from the Near/Mello arc. About the OP, I was suprised the OP didn't include more shots of the characters Light walks by near the end...........oh yeah and music=bleh--- theWORLD was a good opening for DN they should've used another song from Nightmare (though I don't regularly listen to them).
