@Shirukii

I doubt the main story's going to end the next episode; there are at least two key scenes that haven't been animated, and I have too much respect for KyoAni's story crafting to believe that they are going to be crammed into the same episode as the conclusion.

SPOILERS

Most significantly, Ayu's reappearance and disappearance, and her final wish for Yuuichi to forget her is probably the most emotional and dramatic moments in her story - both in the game and in Toei's Kanon. KyoAni would be mad to cut it, and if they don't cut it, the intensity of the moment basically demands that the episode end with it. Certainly, it'd be absurd to group it in the same episode as Ayu's subsequent reappearance and happy resolution.

END SPOILERS

Just as pertinently, it'd be too much of an 180 degree turnaround from the tone of the previous few episodes for KyoAni to allow all the stories to achieve happy resolutions within the same episode; it'd give the ending a slightly manic touch that'd most likely have audiences rejecting it for the incongruity of its optimistic sappiness.

On a related note, I can't believe Nayuki's story is really finished. At this point, I don't believe Akiko's recovery could really provide an adequate conclusion to the story - Nayuki's anger at Yuuichi, and the fundamental shift in their relationship dynamic, essentially demand that Yuuichi and Nayuki come to _some_ sort of understanding regarding where they stand in relation to one another, and Akiko's recovery in and by itself couldn't provide that.

@ Shirukii
Yay~ Thnx again~
-
>>The second one even has the mismatched eyeballs
It be perfect if the bigger eye is a glass bead~ XD
-
>>there’s a lot out there that initially seems mediocre, but really shine in its better moments
well... i simply cant pick up the motivation... even if an anime has certain great highlights in few episodes. I tend to watch the anime as a whole instead of ep by ep, considering that i think a lot about and try to relate some plot or progress from the earlier episodes. So it really kinda ruins the whole feeling for me if some earlier episodes are bad...
And aside from that, for instance, filler type turns me off 1 billion %, Sunrise's typical handling of plot/relationship/character highlights etc ticks me off 1 billion %. Too much insignificant/unneccessary fanservice, too, turns me off 1 trillion %, a very reason i took off dozens of points upon rating Shakugan no Shana, a supposely good anime which storyline ultimately led me to collect the novel. Highly crazy creative, great art performance yet lack of storyline progress also, turns me off 1 million %, the best example is Negima!? where i gave up ever since ep 11... OTZ
So yea i guess im the type of ppl who looks out for serious entertainment like Asatte no Houkou, Bartender, Death Note and the all time winner animes from KA (the only exception i had was Nanoha, where i really got caught by the fresh magic design and storyline, and just like u, i usually dont bother with "magical girl" genre). I guess its really due to my press for time in the day, since my course work isn't really allowing me much time to think/write in detail on different anime. So i think enjoying just 1 or 2 at a time was good enough for me.
-
-
>>If you want some recommendations, check out my anime database for anything over 9.5/10.
Ooo kool thnx, ill surely check it out (if time allows... OTZ)

@Nightingale: It got marked for moderation, I approved =P All is well. On topic, those snow bunnies are awesome! The second one even has the mismatched eyeballs XD Kudos to whoever made those.

=O At having such a selective nature when it comes to anime, there's a lot out there that initially seems mediocre, but really shine in its better moments. If you want some recommendations, check out my anime database for anything over 9.5/10.

@ Kanon_fan82: It's actually not the animation companies that are going after them though, it's TV Tokyo who has for some odd reason begun to attack all things related to their media copyrights.

And what I wouldn't do for 1.65 bil T_T No matter how many people may sneer at them, anyone would sell out for that amount of money.

@ Nightingale:

Well said :)....I agree with you......

The reasoning behind Youtube's new policy though goes (basically) like this:

From a legal stand-point, if you don't own a legit copy (via purchased DVD) you don't have the right to copy said material for an AMV....that's why they are taking them down......

As most ppl use images from fan-subs, they are trying to discourage piracy

After all, fan-subs are technically illegal after licensing (and some would say before-hand, depending on how they understand the creator's right to distribute the product)......Luckily, I don't fall into the latter group and therefore have no ethical qualms on this issue :)

Like I was saying before........I initially got hooked on anime (AIR, Kanon 2006, Melancholy of H.S. etc.) as a result of Youtube.....

and I feel bad for ppl that are just starting to get into it now, only to have Youtube taking it down.....It has to be very discouraging!.....

Hell, I only discovered Bit-torrents like two months ago......it's the only thing that saved me from getting totally screwed and not being able to watch the end of my favourite shows :)

i nvr really mind them deleting fansubs and stuff, im fully aware about the copyright violation issue. but what im really against is that they even go after fan art. i SERIOUSLY dont see in what way does AMV or MAD violates copyright. by all means, blow that.
