I just got a hold of your site. It’s so fun. It also quite silly to see that I’m actually responding to a post made eons ago. I just cant help it though.

I also love Honey and clover. after season One, I thought, just like all otehr animes, season two might be a little less in terms of quality. Fortunately, I think it’s even better.

Thank you for devoting much time to blog about the entire anime.

The DVDs will contain the version of episode 12 with Takemoto’s real seiyuu, or so it’s been said. I have no idea if/when/if they have already been released =(

I’m afraid you are mistaken here. Shuu-chan was glad that she didn’t rush back from Spain because he would have felt guilty for making her abandon her work and Rika said that she was going to but that Mayama scolded her and made her stay.

I kind of liked the ending. Although it feels kind of ironic that in the end Takemoto ate sandwiches with honey & a four leaf clover for each of them. But it was quite touching….(T__T) Bravo Honey & Clover!!! I hope that it won’t just end there. I’m looking forward 4 the movie that i’m downloading now & hope that they do remake or maybe add a hidden chapter for season 2 like Chapter L & F….(^__^)

I’m still downloading the 12 episodes of HCII but I got the feeling that it is Takemoto that Hagu truly loves but she doesn’t realizes it yet. I also got this same feeling when I was just downloading the first season after reading all the reviews that points to the contrary (and haven’t changed my opinion after watching the first 24 episodes).

Yeah….that was probably my favourite part of episode 12. Back in episode 8 we all felt the hollow/emptiness of Kaoru’s “victory”. In the end, it was seeing his enemy saved which “saved” him. I love it. :)

Ooooh, nice, I didn’t catch that. Thanks for pointing that out, it’s these type of subtleties that make or break arcs, nice touch.
I still think the ending was too rushed, however, upon rewatching it and discovering new things like this my overall impression of the ending has changed.
Thanks again XD that changed my opinion of Kaoru quite a bit.
